The UK Resuscitation Council and British Heart Foundation have developed a new AED sign and supporting poster.
It is hoped that the new information will help support and reinforce the following messages:
- Anyone can use it. You do not need previous medical or first aid training.
- They are easy to use. You just follow the instructions.
- They are for use on an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally.
