How much notice do I need to book?

We would like a minimum of two weeks notice for bookings as we require time to book paperwork and register courses with our AO prior to the course start date.

Can you do weekends and / or evenings?

Yes, we can accommodate your course over evenings and weekends so long as the required number of hours of teaching is fulfilled.

How do I know if my business is a suitable teaching venue?

Most business premises have a room that can be adapted for the use as a training room. All on site venues will be inspected for suitability prior to confirmation of booking so that there would be plenty of time to arrange an alternate venue if required.

What sort of exam is there?

Depending on which course you choose there may be a written test and a practical assessment. Don’t worry, there is ample time to practice and the instructors and examiners do their best to put you at ease.

How long is my qualification valid for?

All HSE approved certificates are valid for 3 years.

What about COVID?

We are ensuring that all attendees are fit and well when they arrive and temperature checks will be taken.  Anyone who appears unwell or has a temperature over 37.7 will be asked to leave.  Social distancing measures will be in place and masks worn by all attendees.  Ample opportunity will be given for handwashing / gelling.  All equipment used will be sanitized before during and after each course.
